Burna Boy is a Nigerian Afrobeat performer, songwriter, and record engineer born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR on July 2, 1991. The main song from his very first studio album L.I.F.E (2013), “Like to Party,” which he released in 2012, catapulted him to fame. 2017 saw the signing of Burna Boy to Warner Music Group globally and Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the US. His major-label breakthrough was his third studio album, Outside, released in 2018. He received the Best International Act award at the 2019 BET Awards, and that year he was named an Apple Music Up Next artist. In July 2019, he published his fourth studio album, African Giant.
