Nigerian Gospel star, Dunsin Oyekan has released a staggering Gospel studio record tagged, “Ascend.”
We all know Dunsin Oyekan as the convener of the Code Red Worship Experience and his benefaction to the Gospel music scene has never been underrated. Here, he drops a fine sound named, “Ascend” where it talks about the connection we should have with our creator.
Dunsin Oyekan who goes by the nickname “The Eagle” also alerted us about rapture as how he wants to ascend and be with his father when the trumpet comes ringing. “Ascend” describes how Dunsin Oyekan drips and bounced on the beat swiftly; he still got his game intact.
Apparently, the christian song moves away after the great reception his last song, “Roar” recieved. Dunsin Oyekan is also an instrumentalist and a sound engineer who engages in varieties of musical equipments including the drums, keyboard and guitar. He was also a music director with the award-winning choir – Avalanche of the COZA (Common Wealth of Zion Assembly).
Lastly, “Ascend” will be part of his upcoming studio project which will be seen after his last masterwork, “The Gospel of the Kingdom” album created ecstasy online and on air in the past few weeks.
“Ascend” has some catchy lyrics like:
“this is the ladder in the spirit, my gateway to the heavens, the connection to the father, my worship brings me face to face x2, i worship the one who sits upon the throne, until i am changed to same image as he is x2”
