One of Nigeria’s young music sensation, Oxlade host us with a spanking fresh studio output called, “Ojuju.”
Oxlade is for the people since he has been a guest act on songs. “Non Living Thing” with Sarkodie, “Frenemies” with Rexxie, “Unconditionally” with Ajebutter22 amongst few aforementioned, Oxlade has shown what it takes to survive in the mainstream. His latest, “Ojuju” is another vibe to reckon with.
The last time Oxlade gave a song officially made by him was “DKT” last year and ever since, he has been busy honouring artists invitations on album productions, features and even online medleys.
“Ojuju” by Oxlade will kick-off his adventure for 2021; and we are already loving the vibe the song created. “Ojuju” is a word originated from pidgin which signifies voodoo or charm that controls the mind of people.
Surprisingly, Oxlade dropped a sound that looks like Buju had a vocal addition on – this is pure artistry from Oxlade which we will soon max out our data trying to stream recklessly to the sound.
Generally, he teams up with DJ Coublon who provided an instrument as unique as Johnny Sins singing Gospel song.
“Ojuju” has some catchy lyrics like:
“i’m afraid of falling in love again, i go scarce baby and you know it pains, me no wan cry, me no wan shed tears, me i dey try cause you making me senseless, you give me nightmares, call the paramedics because me i need healthcare, oh no i no know how everybody does it cause e don dey tire me oh, i no know how everybody body does it cause e don dey kill me oh, i dey fear ojuju i dey fear, i dey fear fear fear falling, i dey fear ojuju i dey fear, its like this love tinga enough of me eh, i am fed up of falling and falling again”
