Late Da Grin’s younger brother, TROD has a beautifully-created sound termed, “Shey You Fit Go?!”.

This song adds the midas touch of Olamide Baddo, who graced a verse; showing how it is done by the OG in the game. Olamide‘s is still top-notch in terms of local rap despite Nigerian rappers turning to singers due to lack of interest shown by music lovers in the country.

TROD has all it takes to become a rap superstar in Nigeria, after he made a fine entry at Zlatan’s remix to “Lagos Anthem” along side other heavyweight singers.

In the past, questions were raised by fans on why Olamide couldn’t help or sign TROD to his label due to the fact his elder brother, Da Grin was the sole-inventor of indigenous rap in the Oduduwa region of the nation. Olamide is a big fan of Da Grin no doubt, but he is strict with his business and we are pretty sure that he would have for sure, gifts or apply financial aid to TROD and his family in recent years.

Far from what we are discussing, Olamide’s part on the track, “Shey You Fit Go?!” is massive with TROD serenading perfectly in order to make the chorus output pleasing and sweet to the cochlea.

Finally, “Shey You Fit Go?!” is a trap song that brings the fusion of Yoruba tribal rap flows and pidgin rap to a very applausive end. It talks about getting money the harder way (with obstacles hindering every move you make).
