Young Jonn – Currency ft. Olamide

Nigerian amazing recording act Young Jonn has brought out this wonderful rhythm to our ears which is dubbed as “Currency.”
The young singer Young Jonn saw everything was working in his favor and decided to have the vocal dexterity of one of the big names and legends in the industry Olamide Baddo who gave a clean verse with so much meaning attached to it.
We can all recall how Young Jonn started his professional music career as a music producer and how has been the brain behind numerous past hit songs even from the desk of YBNL. Olamide Baddo and Jiggy isn’t the first time they have worked together in the industry but it will be their maiden record after Young Jonn turned singer and was signed by Chocolate City. The song “Currency” looks very promising and would be on everyone’s lips in no time.
Nevertheless, the song talks about life in general and how they want to keep to their grid. He noted that whenever you have problems, you should call on God but when it’s business time, you shouldn’t hesitate to holla at them. Young John’s new record for the year alongside Olamide will be the debut record for Jiggy in 2023 as he tends to pick from here to continue the pace he started in 2022.
“Currency” gives us a rhythmic atmosphere and actually showcased Young Jonn singing skills while Olamide gave us slick bars on his own rap part. This jam serves as a follow-up to his previous studio outing dubbed, “Xtra Cool.”
Furthermore, as Young Jonn prepares for his upcoming body of work which will be unveiled later this year, this song will offer as a prerequisite to what we will be seeing in the future. Music production was laced and nailed by talented Nigerian beat maker Killertunes.
”Currency” has some catchy lyrics like:
Shout out to my mummy
Adura won nu ko mo mi
If you got a problem call God oh
If you get business holla me
Everybody wanna dey
When nobody wanna give
And man we living in a jungle oh no
If you got a problem call God oh
If you get business holla me
Normally
Awon omoge wan mi normally
No even bother me
Only thing I want right now is the pounds and dollars
More money, more money
Biggy money money currency
Make nobody bother me
Only thing I want right now is the pounds and dollars
