After a two-year ban, Stonebwoy returns to the VGMA

Ghanaian reggae dancehall vocalist, Stonebwoy has finally been nominated for the 23rd Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Basically, after a two-year hiatus from the VGMAs, the selection came as a pleasant surprise for Ghanaian music lovers. Following an argument involving both heavyweight stars Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale during the 2019 edition, they were both blacklisted in 2019.
However, the restriction has been removed, allowing Stonebwoy to compete for this year’s event. He is one of the favorite to dominate the category he was nominated for after registering hits back-to-back last summer.
The vocalist was nominated for both Song of the Year and Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year in the Reggae/Dancehall section. He’ll be up against KiDi, Samini, Larusso, and Epixode, among others.
