Burna Boy is the first African artiste to hit 50 million streams on Spotify

African Giant and dance-hall singer, Burna Boy becomes the first and the only African act to hit over 50 million streams on Spotify, Charts Africa reported via Twitter.

Recall, just few days ago, Burna Boy received a plaque as his 2020 sensational single “On The Low” 2019 reaches over 15 million streams in france, Click HERE.

Burna Boy is still achieving a lot as that same “On The Low”song hits 50 million streams on one of the best online music platform, Spotify and still sounting, making him the first and the only African musician to reach that landmark.

According to Charts Africa, the “Ye” singer remains the only African performer to have a solo single hitting 50 million streams on Spotify which is a benchmark record.

Charts Africa took to their official Twitter page with the tweet;

“@burnaboy “On The Low” now has 51M+ streams on Spotify… and he’s the only #African artiste who has a solo record reaching 50,000,000+ streams on Spotify.”
