Liverpool battles with Spurs as we enter another week in the EPL

The Barclay’s English Premier League match day 22 will kick off today 11th January, 2020, after weeks of participating in the FA Cup and in the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal will open the EPL match day on Saturday as they will make a trip to the Selhurst Park Stadium for a fierce battle against Crystal Palace after a scintillating display at the Emirates Stadium, beating Manchester United 2-0 on New Year day.

Jose Mourinho will give the league leaders a warm reception at the White Hart Lane. Klopp will be looking forward to extend their unbeaten run in the league against the injury struck Tottenham. Jose Mourinho will be hoping for a win to still keep the race for the top 4 open though his side won’t be with key players like Harry Kane and Sissoko.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been clueless recently where they had lost tempo in their previous FA Cup and Carabao Cup encounter. In the FA Cup, Wolves was the better side as they were held at a goalless draw in the Molineux Stadium while the Carabao Cup semifinal against their Derby rivals Manchester City was a disaster as they were trashed 1-3 at Old Trafford in the first leg though still have a chance of bouncing back in the second leg. Manchester United will host Norwich at home and a much needed win for the Red Devils will make them still in the top 4 race.

Chelsea will host Burnley on match day 22. Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at Brighton on New Year day and while Frank Lampard’s side isn’t that good at Stamford Bridge this season will hope for a win against Sean Dyche’s men to keep their top 4 dream alive.
