Tuesday and Wednesday night kept us on high heels as we embrace the results of our favorite European football clubs in group stage.
The defending champions, Liverpool showed the class they were made-of in the scintinlating display at the Red Bull Arena in Austria. They outclassed the Austrian side with a 2-0 win in other to top the Group E table. Napoli came runner-up after defeating Genk 4 goals to nil in Naples.
Valencia made a 1-0 shocking victory at Netherlands which made them came first in the Group H. Chelsea defeated the French side at Stamford Bridge by 2 goals to 1. Valencia and Chelsea qualified from the group.
Barcelona side without Messi scattered the hope of Antonio Conte’s men in a 2-1 away victory in Italy while Dortmund were brilliant in Germany by beating the Czech Republic side, Sparta Praha by 2 goals to 1. Barcelona and Dortmund qualified from the group.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored in Germany as Sarri’s men (already qualified) beats Bayer 2-0 from away. Atletico Madrid won by 2 goals to nil at the Wanda Metropolitano. Juventus and Atletico Madrid qualified from Group D.
