Boko Haram rocks as 30 people were killed in a crowded bridge bomb blast
Borno State is actually the target area for ISWAP popularly known as Boko Haram as they open this year with a detonated explosive in a crowded bridge in Gamboru killing 30 persons at the spot.
The explosion was carried out on January 6th, 2020 killing both market women and children at large.
According to Reuters, over 35 people were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital after the bomb detonated at exactly 5pm in the evening.
“It is an unfortunate day for us to witness this frustrating and devastating incident in our community. I just heard a loud sound of explosions, before I realized I saw many of our friends and colleagues were killed,” according to an eyewitness
There are reports suggesting the attack was carried out by Boko Haram but the later has not taken responsibility of the attack.
