French Govt. deploys troops to Burkina Faso after jihadist attack
After the Christmas eve disaster that happened in Burkina Faso where terrorists carried out the biggest manslaughter in the last five years. 35 civilians were killed where 99% of them are women.
This is France first ever move of deploying ground troops in Burkina Faso. France has also deployed over 4500 troops to the African countries that shares borders with Burkina Faso with the likes of Chad, Mali and Niger. Burkina Faso’s border to this African countries are the three major border that is been disturbed and threatened by a group of jihadist.
This attack took place in Arbinda town, Burkina Faso’s South province where the minister of communication who is also a government spoke person, Dandjinou Remis admitted that the attack was only aimed at civilian women making it 31 women in total killed in the terrorist deadliest attack.
Roch Marc Christian Kaboré who is the head of states in Burkina Faso declared 2-days of national mourning, though no terrorist group has admitted carrying out the attack but the jihadist groups violence which has taken over in those 3 major borders since 2015 is been suspected for the deadliest attack on christmas eve.
